This is the one dark band on the page, and it is here because it is the argument. Two separate New Jersey duties apply to pesticide work, and a vendor who describes only one of them has told you half the story.

Recordkeeping — N.J.A.C. 7:30-7.3

Every pesticide application must be recorded in writing within 24 hours and retained for three years — five for termiticide. The record must carry the date and hour of application; the specific address, municipality and county; the site of application, which is distinct from the street address; the applicator name and certification number; the EPA registration number; the brand or trade name and the active ingredients; the concentrate and diluent amounts and the total mixture volume; a structural diagram for termiticide work; and the re-entry date where the label carries a restricted-entry interval.

No format is prescribed by the regulation, which is precisely why a digital service ticket satisfies it. You get one you can hand to an inspector.
